Past Recipients
The members of the State Council for Persons with Disabilities receives nominations for the Mary Custis-Straughn Award annually from disability advocates, state agencies, non-profits, and for-profit organizations who work with and/or serve Delawareans with disabilities. Council members review all nominations received and vote for the most deserving recipient with the winner(s) announced during the SCPD Annual Partnership Event held in October.
