William's Letter
02/26/2016
To Whom It May Concern;
I am writing to say that with the new installation of a stair lift for my partner Franklin has given him added mobility to stay in the home. Franklin has gained a sense of safety in the fact that he does not have to worry about being out of breath from his COPD as he climbs the stairs to use the restroom.
The same sense of security is had due to having a Traumatic Brain Injury in coming down the stairs. He is not afraid of losing lose his balance or getting dizzy due to the injury sustained many years ago affecting his equilibrium.
Not only has the stair lift given Franklin a new sense of confidence; it has given me, his caretaker a sense of security. I don't have to worry about getting a call from Franklin or his attendants that he had fallen down the stairs after taking care of his Activities for Daily Living.
This added mobility also helps his other caregivers when they come to assist him during the day. The home attendants don't have to stop whatever task they're doing to make sure he is safe in using the stairs.
I want to thank all of you in making a better quality of life for Franklin and I. The assistance received from the Council and AmRamp is truly a godsend in giving care to a loved one.
Sincerely Yours,
-- William K. Gadola
