Dear State Council for Persons with Disabilities:

Let me begin by thanking each of you for the opportunity to continue working with Lauren Haggerty from Brain Love. Thanks to Lauren’s neurofeedback therapies, I have been able to regulate my emotions. I have seen a big change in my spacey/dissociative feelings, which are almost completely gone. I have more motivation to do the things I need to do and even go above and beyond in daily tasks. I find that I am also not as harsh on myself when it comes to work. Thanks to Lauren, I have learned to take care of my brain, a muscle that must be worked out just like anything else. Lauren helped me realize the importance of continuing to care for myself and my brain.

I have recently graduated from Delaware Tech with my Associates in Criminal Justice and have started working on my Bachelor of Arts degree in 3D Animation at Wilmington University. I feel focused and ready for an exciting future.

Thank you to the SCPD for allowing me the opportunity to start feeling like a normal human being again. The funding you provided was a blessing and I greatly appreciate all that you have done. Thank you so very much!
